AboutJohnSteven

good timing.

these unseen things, is a virtual point for me to ascertain some structural habit of publishing my writing. the work i expect that will be read here, is of sincere personal observation and discoveries experienced.

presently i am searching for a pot of gold, international lovers, an affordable/larger creativity space, and with efficiency, maintain an active habit of imagining (while riding my raleigh alyeska touring bicycle dreaming of the super SS tour).

about me
my name you already have read arriving here at this extension from a meager folding table that serves both my housemate, jacqueline gordon and me, as our desk. together we live intimately at le cusing chateau,
one of the two unmarked buzzers left of our fluted gate along a busy geary street, close to the corner of hyde.

i have since relocated to the intersection of 17th and hampshire street in an unmarked – un-permitted live/work space. the buzzer is marked fluorescent orange, and the door has magnetic shapes and alphabets on it. i live with poet jason morris, and artist’s jesse nicholson and ryan coffey. (ian rents a studio space, and is rarely seen.)

yes it is not true, and this is not what’s his face. he left san francisco on his roaring raleigh alyeska, and can not be seen at all. however, you may discover in manhattan the resemblance of, at a helium reading &, or art projects aka I.T.S.O.A.B &, or As she breathes the shadow, get free.

recently inspired by patty smith, s/he too looks forward to the already in progress process of being destroyed by cincinnati  new york city, and the terribly hard work to reconstruct a new identity.

this is in san francisco. a city with topography often referred to seven miles square, and possesses both depth and height, leading the eye to numerous points of beauty. this is in cincinnati new york city’s east village, a city neighborhood looking ahead to economic gentrification by guppies and cuppies. awfully  bored dead of this social discourse. a city that will build literally up, denser, thicker, taller; i oppose sprawling across our precious forests, plains, meadows, marshes, oceans, and moon. however i do disapprove of cultural gentrification and advocate against displacement of communities, but that’s where you get involved in the decision making processes that exist right there in front of you. organize the expressions with criticism rooted in critical thinking skills.

look it up. vote on it. VOTE NOVEMBER 3RD CINCINNATI

i may bring more adjectives to detail the context from which i write.

gritty, sustained, dynamic,

    striking, dyslexic, poet,
  • activist, artist, queer
  • i am half filipino, and half appalachian and the product of a passionate love amidst/post  us-vietnam militarization. i spend my summers in both ohio and kentucky, and have traveled overseas and crossed borders to nations named; canada, cuba, italy, spain, and the philippines. in june 2005, i graduated from san francisco art institute with a bfa in interdisciplinary arts.

i work numerous trades such as: arts preparator, artist, gallery assistant, consultant, designer, landscaper, gardener, performer, spacial specialist, painter, model, dog walker, ybca center guide, and assistant to an inspiring ‘artist, mother, musician, film maker, wife of barry mcgee’, clare e. rojas.

thank you for reading, and do share your words with me.
